Timbaland & 6LACK Preview New Collaboration
Timbaland and 6LACK are joining forces.
After sharing a photo of himself in the studio with the “PRBLMS” singer, Timbo released a video snippet of their collaboration. The clip shows Tim and 6 nodding their heads and vibing to their new sounds in the lab. It ends with an “Album Coming Soon” announcement from Timothy.
Tim has been teasing new material for some time. In March, he reunited in the studio with Pharrell and Justin Timberlake. His Instagram bio also confirms that new music is coming in 2017.
Last year, the legendary producer confirmed that his Opera Noir musical was in the works. Plus, fans are still anticipating the previously-announced Textbook Timbo.
But Timbaland has been making noise outside of music, too. Not only was he a mentor on Lifetime’s “The Pop Game,” but he’s also become a guide on ABC’s “Boy Band.”
