T-Pain Announces 'Acoustic Tour' Dates

  /  08.22.2017

Fresh off collaborations with Gucci Mane, Steve Aoki, and Young M.A., T-Pain is heading out on the road with his just-announced “Acoustic Tour.”

Joined by Smino and Felly on select dates, the short 6-date trek is set to kick off Oct. 4 in San Francisco, before making its way through West Hollywood, Chicago, New York, and Cambridge. The run will conclude in Washington, DC on Oct. 30.

“Hitting the road this October for an Acoustic Tour,” he wrote on Instagram. “I wanted to do something different for you guys…performing some of my favorite songs in a way you’ve never seen or heard.”

T-Pain has wowed listeners with Auto-Tune throughout his career, but he’s also impressed fans with his unplugged singing, like when he sang “The Star-Spangled Banner” without effects in 2015.

The tour announcement follows the confirmation of a forthcoming project titled OBLiViON, which has already spawned the Young M.A.-assisted “F.B.G.M.” Teddy P’s long-awaited Stoicville: The Phoenix is also expected to land at some point in the future.

Tickets for T-Pain’s “Acoustic Tour” go on sale Friday.
