New Music: DJ Kay Slay feat. Busta Rhymes, Tech N9ne, & The Game - 'Jealousy'
Following up on his Kendrick Lamar, Kevin Gates, and Mac Miller collaboration “Cold Summer,” DJ Kay Slay heats things up again with The Game, Tech N9ne, Busta Rhymes, and Meet Sims on “Jealousy.”
Over Trackateering Music’s triumphant production, Bussa Bus delivers his trademark rapid-fire delivery. “Make it bounce,” he raps. “Stretch and bend your ass, yoga / Bangin’ on ni**as until we probably break a shoulder.”
Utilizing his own trademarked chopping style, Tech Nina follows up with multi-syllable rhyme schemes with machine gun velocity. “Play no games,” he raps. “I ain’t no dame so I ain’t for playing / I’ma drain your brain when that thang go bang.”
Finally, following Meet Sims’ hook, Chuck Taylor slows things down with a fierce seriousness, while shouting out the track’s host. “If I don’t get a call from Slay, somebody dying,” he raps. “Like ’97, you hard pressed? Get the iron.”
“Jealousy” follows “Cold Summer” and “Wild One” off the Drama King’s forthcoming album, The Big Brother. Featuring 2 Chainz, Rick Ross, Dave East, Fat Joe, Raekwon, Scarface, Jadakiss, Juicy J, Jay Rock, French Montana, Ice-T, Nipsey Hussle, Beanie Sigel, Freeway, and E-40, among others, the LP is due Sept. 22.
