Travis Scott's 'AstroWorld' Influenced by Fatherhood

  /  02.13.2018

Travis Scott’s life and music are being affected by the birth of his first daughter Stormi Webster, according to sources who say he’s a changed man.

Insiders claim that Travis has been laughing more and that he’s calmer than normal since his baby’s birth, according to TMZ. That new serenity is helping him craft his best work yet, they say.

The Houston rapper, whose real name is Jacques Webster, is currently working on his next album, AstroWorld. The long-awaited follow-up to Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight was inspired by a now-defunct amusement park in Houston.

In January, Scott said that he didn’t know what would end up on the forthcoming album. However, he did say he had every intention of making an impact. “I worked so hard on Rodeo and Birds,” he said. “It might not have been recognized by the masses, but my fans always went hard. This year I’m on a mission to be heard.”

La Flame has been by girlfriend Kylie Jenner’s side throughout most of the pregnancy and post-delivery. He recently traveled to his hometown, Missouri City, Texas, where he received a key to the city. Sources say he FaceTimed Jenner during the trip.

AstroWorld is set to drop at some point this year.
