MTV to Air Cardi B Special 'Total Request Live Party With Cardi'

  /  04.09.2018

After taking over “Saturday Night Live” and “The Tonight Show,” Cardi B will party with “Total Request Live.”

The MTV series will air a special one-hour episode all about the Bronx bombshell on Tuesday, April 10, at 4 p.m. ET/PT.

Sway Calloway will host “Total Request Live Party With Cardi,” while the “Bodak Yellow” star’s sister Hennessy Carolina will act as co-host. Bardi will talk about her debut album Invasion of Privacy and she will count down her top 10 biggest moments yet.

Despite rumors of “TRL’s” cancelation, MTV recently announced an expansion. Instead of airing every afternoon, “Total Request Live” will now have three installments per day.

Sway is hosting the weekday morning show, “Total Request AM,” starting April 23 at 8 a.m. ET. The afternoon version of the series will return at 3 p.m. ET that same day. “Total Request LateNight” launched in February and will expand from two nights to four nights per week by the end of the year.

Cardi B just released her debut album Invasion of Privacy. It’s already been certified gold and is expected to top the Billboard 200 in its first week. The mom-to-be will co-host “The Tonight Show” this evening and she is scheduled to perform at Coachella this weekend.
