Jacquees was arrested on a drug charge during a traffic stop in Atlanta on Thursday (May 24).
The 24-year-old singer, born Rodriquez Broadnax, was driving a 2007 Bentley Continental around 3 a.m., according to WXIA-TV. Jacquees was reportedly going 116 miles per hour when cops pulled him and his female passenger, Stanesha Boutwell, over.
According to the officer, an object was tossed out of the window during the incident, which was later found to be marijuana. Police reportedly found more weed during a search of the vehicle and recovered about three grams of marijuana.

“The vehicle pulled to the shoulder but continued rolling a short distance,” said the Atlanta Police Dept. “While it was rolling, the officer observed an item be thrown out of the passenger window. Once the vehicle stopped, the officer approached the driver who advised him that he had thrown marijuana from the vehicle.”
Jacquees was charged with speeding, reckless driving, littering, and possession of a controlled substance. Boutwell was charged with possession of a controlled substance.
This is Jacquees’ third run-in with the law in recent months. Earlier this month, the R&B crooner was detained and cited for disorderly conduct at Milwaukee’s General Mitchell International Airport. In March, he was arrested for failure to obey a lawful comment and for a seatbelt violation following a confrontation with cops in Miami.
Just last week, the Cash Money signee dropped his new single “Inside” featuring Trey Songz. He is now readying his debut album 4275.
