Drake, Cardi B Top Spotify's Songs of Summer

Drake had the summer on smash.

After topping the Billboard Hot 100 for seven weeks and spawning a viral dance challenge, “In My Feelings” was 2018’s most streamed song of the summer on Spotify. The track, from Drake’s chart-topping album Scorpion, earns the honors after being streamed more than 393 million times between June 1 and Aug. 20.

Maroon 5’s “Girls Like You” featuring Cardi B is the second most-streamed song of the summer on the streaming service, with about 293 million streams worldwide, followed by Cardi’s “I Like It” featuring J Balvin and Bad Bunny at No. 3 with more than 289 million streams.

Spotify’s Top Global Songs of Summer also includes Juice WRLD’s breakout hit “Lucid Dreams” at No. 4 and the late XXXTentacion’s “SAD!” at No. 5. Post Malone’s “Better Now” and Tyga’s “Taste” featuring Offset were also in the top 10.

In addition to “In My Feelings,” Drizzy lands several other appearances on the songs of summer with his other Scorpion tracks including “God’s Plan,” “Nice for What,” and the Michael Jackson-assisted “Don’t Matter to Me.”
