New Music: Post Malone & Swae Lee - 'Sunflower'

  /  10.18.2018

Post Malone and Swae Lee join forces on their heroic collaboration “Sunflower,” the first single off the soundtrack to Marvel’s animated film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.

The two, who previously teamed up on “Spoil My Night” off Post’s album beerbongs & bentleys, deliver a heartfelt anthem, inspired by the film’s protagonist, Miles Morales, who discovers the Spider-Man inside himself.

Rae Sremmurd’s Swae Lee kicks thing off with his melody-driven flow. “You’re a sunflower, I think your love would be too much,” sings Swae, while Post reprises the hook: “Or you’ll be left in the dust / Unless I stuck by ya / You’re the sunflower.”

The soundtrack for Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse will be released on Dec. 14, the same day the film opens in theaters. Watch the animated video below.
