New Music: Nipsey Hussle - 'Perfect Timing'

Nipsey Hussle closes out 2018 with a bang. Following the success of his album Victory Lap, the Crenshaw rapper celebrates with “Perfect Timing.”

Over a boom-bap beat, produced by SAP and Mike & Keys, Nipsey reflects on his journey, from serving time behind bars to rocking stages. “I know ‘Perfect Timing’ feels like I’m too late / But every single time I drop, they tell me I’m the great,” raps Nipsey.

Victory Lap, which was released in February, earned Nipsey his first Grammy nomination for Best Rap Album and landed a spot on several critics’ year-end lists.
