New Music: 6ix9ine - 'LANES'

6ix9ine remains behind bars, but that hasn’t stopped him from releasing new music. The incarcerated MC drops his tropical banger “LANES” as part of Pornhub’s Valentine’s Day album.

Over the steel drum instrumental, which samples Korean boy band WINNER’s “Island,” Tekashi shows off his vocal chops while catering to the ladies with his Auto-Tuned melodies, while Lil AK aka DJ Akademiks makes his musical debut.

“6ix9ine gave me this song last year as a birthday present,” said Akademiks. “I added a verse and it’s finally finished.”

6ix9ine remains in prison after pleading guilty to nine counts of racketeering, conspiracy, firearms offenses, and narcotics trafficking. He will be sentenced in January 2020.

“LANES” is one of six tracks off the Pornhub Valentine’s Day Album, which also features contributions from Blac Chyna, Lil Xan, PnB Rock, Asian Doll, 24hrs, and MadeinTYO.
