Toni Braxton's Niece Lauren Braxton Dead at 24

The Braxton family is mourning the loss of one of their own.

Lauren Braxton, the daughter of Toni Braxton’s younger brother Michael Conrad Braxton Jr., died Monday (April 29) in Maryland at the age of 24, reports TMZ. According to her father, her death was related to a heart condition.

Law enforcement received a 911 call around noon on Monday. When they arrived, Lauren was unresponsive and was pronounced dead by paramedics, according to TMZ.

Michael and Toni are the elder siblings to Traci, Towanda, Trina, and Tamar. Like the rest of his family, Michael is also a singer-songwriter and has appeared on episodes of the family’s WE tv reality series “Braxton Family Values.”

On Tuesday, Trina Braxton took to Instagram to mourn her niece, who went by the nickname LoLo. “God sent me another angel! Rest in Heaven Lauren ‘LoLo’ Braxton,” she wrote alongside a photo of Lauren.
