Everyone from Trippie Redd to Justin Bieber has shared their top 5. Now Young Thug is revealing his list.
During his appearance on Gille Da Kid and Wallo’s “Million Dollaz Worth of Game” podcast, the “Ski” rapper named his five greatest rappers alive starting with his own Young Stoner Life crew, who accompanied him in the studio for the interview.
“I don’t use us as a group,” Thug said while referring to the collective that includes Gunna, Lil Keed, Unfoonk, and Yak Gotti. “We really one. So I gotta say YSL one.”
He went on to rattle off Lil Baby, Lil Uzi Vert, and Drake. He hesitated when it came to the fifth spot, naming Future and 21 Savage before ultimately settling on Kanye West.
“Kanye. Fifth one gotta be Kanye,” said the Slime Language 2 rapper.
Thug said his list is based on influence as well as lyrics. “If we gon’ say lyrics, we gon’ say fu**in’ Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, Bas… It’s about everything,” he added.
