G-Eazy and Logic are currently making their way across the country on their co-headlining “Endless Summer Tour.”
In between dates, the Bay Area rapper spoke with Rap-Up TV about why he decided to join forces with the “Flexicution” MC. “We’re homies,” he said. “It made sense. Everybody was asking for it, the fans and all that. I’ve known him for years. We’re cool. Our management teams, everybody is cool with each other. That’s family. It just seemed like a no-brainer.”
G-Eazy released his chart-topping album When It’s Dark Out last year, but he’s already working on new material including a sequel to his 2011 mixtape The Endless Summer.
“I’m putting a studio up in the bus right now,” he said. “I’m gonna be working every single day, knocking out a ton of features. I’ll probably start working on a mixtape and once this tour is over, get right in, and start working on this next album.”
“The Endless Summer Tour,” also featuring YG and Yo Gotti, is slated to close Aug. 5 in Hartford. See tour dates here.
