Alicia Keys, Swizz Beatz, Usher, Jennifer Hudson, Jay Sean, Janelle Monáe, and Justin Timberlake deliver their last tweets and testaments before signing off social media. The celebrities are sacrificing their digital lives on Twitter and Facebook to benefit Alicia’s Keep a Child Alive foundation, which raises money for HIV/AIDS in Africa and India. Once $1 million is accumulated, they will return to the social networking services. You can buy their lives back by donating at buylife.org.

“I’ve decided to sacrifice my digital life in order to give real life to the millions of people affected by HIV and AIDS in Africa and India,” said Keys, who spearheaded the campaign. “So as much as I love tweeting with ya’ll—you know I do—my heart is devoted to fighting AIDS. So until enough money is raised to buy back my digital life, no more tweets and no Facebook posts for me.”

Say goodbye to them for now below.
