Nicki Minaj and Drake's 'Moment 4 Life' Video in Photos
With the premiere of Nicki Minaj and Drake’s “Moment 4 Life” video just hours away, photographer Derick G. has released images from the set of the Young Money rappers’ collaboration. The on-screen couple walks down the aisle in the Chris Robinson-directed clip, but they’re remaining mum on whether or not they tie the knot.
The hip-hop princess, who stars in the fairy tale concept, explained that given the level of interest surrounding their faux marriage last year, she had to entertain the rumor in the video. “Obviously, Drake and I, we’ve played around so much with the whole marriage thing and stuff like that, so people have come to be kind of intrigued about us and it’s where we’re shooting the video together,” she told MTV News. “So I was like, there has to be some sort of romantic storyline. It’s Drake and me.”
Drizzy expressed his excitement over working with the blonde bombshell, but wouldn’t disclose the ending. “I mean, it’s a fantasy video. You’ve got a very regal environment, and you’ve got Nicki doing what she does—big outfits, big everything. Yeah, I love that girl, man. I’m not going to lie to you,” he told Sway on the set. “The twist of it, the concept of it, I don’t want to give it all away.”
The “Moment 4 Life” video is set to premiere on MTV tonight at 7:54 p.m. EST.
