Talib Kweli fans received a special treat today when the rapper announced that his new album, Prisoner of Conscious, will be released on November 20.

“When it comes 2 greatness, I want it more than you don’t want me to have it. Wack rappers don’t phase me cuz I make the music I want to hear,” he tweeted prior to sharing the release date.

The single “Push Thru” featuring Kendrick Lamar and Curren$y dropped in July. The Symbolyc One-produced track has the soulful sound that fans have come to expect from the Brooklyn MC.

In addition to the aforementioned, the album is slated to feature a slew of big-name features including Nelly, Melanie Fiona, and Busta Rhymes.

The prolific Kweli recently released his Attack the Block mixtape with Z-Trip, including the smooth “Outstanding” with vocals from Ryan Leslie and production by Boi-1da.
