Rick Ross, Meek Mill, and Wale

Rick Ross is on the move. The Bawse has announced that his Maybach Music Group is transitioning from Warner Bros. Records to Atlantic Records.

As part of the new deal, his MMG artists including Wale, Meek Mill, Omarion, and Stalley will release their future projects on Atlantic, home to T.I., Bruno Mars, Wiz Khalifa, and B.o.B.

“MMG, we just merged with Atlantic Records. It’s the biggest move of the year,” said Ross during his visit to Miami radio station 99 Jamz.

Both Warner Bros. and Atlantic are under the Warner Music Group umbrella. “Atlantic and Warner have a beautiful relationship, so it’s nothing funny. It’s all beautiful. It’s getting bigger and bigger,” said Rozay.

Earlier this year, his rival Young Jeezy was named Senior Vice President of A&R at Atlantic.

The Bawse also plans to announce the title of his sixth album on New Year’s Day. “That’s coming summer 2013, so once again the summer is mine,” he said of the follow-up to this year’s God Forgives, I Don’t.
