It was a night of music and charity as Keep a Child Alive celebrated its 10th Annual Black Ball at Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City last night. KCA founder Alicia Keys hosted the black-tie benefit, which was filled with musical performances from Pharrell, Carole King, Roy Ayers, Laura Mvula, and Kathleen Battle.

The Grammy-winning singer posed for a family portrait on the red carpet with her husband Swizz Beatz and their three-year-old son Egypt. Other guests included Pharrell and his new wife Helen Lasichanh, Tamia and her husband Grant Hill, Maxwell, Clive Davis, and Gayle King.

Alicia joined Pharrell on stage to perform his hits including “Get Lucky” and “Blurred Lines,” while her hubby served as DJ for the evening’s Afterglow finale.

“I’m in awe of how @keepachildalive has been saving lives for 10 years!! One of the most important fights of our lives!!” tweeted Alicia.

Keep a Child Alive’s Black Ball has raised over $18.5 million for children and families affected by HIV in Africa and India.
