Video: Dawn Richard - 'Choices: The Interlude'

After winning over critics and topping the iTunes Electronic chart with her second album, Dawn Richard makes a bold statement in the video for “Choices: The Interlude,” the third visual off Blackheart.
In light of racial and political unrest in the world and Dawn’s personal journey and fight for artistic freedom, she and director Jayson Carter convey a message of choosing self and peace through projection art.
The video ends with the powerful words: “I Choose Me.”
Dawn previously debuted the animated video for “Tide: The Paradox Effect” and the choreographed “Blow.”
She will bring Blackheart to The Viper Room in L.A. on Feb. 5 and Slim’s in San Francisco on Feb. 7.
