Jay Electronica Throws Shots at Drake and J. Cole

Jay Electronica may not have put out much music in the last half-decade, but he’s got plenty of heat for those who have. During a recent show at XOYO in London, the New Orleans MC took some time to throw shade at Drake and J. Cole.

“Jay Electronica is the God of Hip-Hop. You might be the 6 God, but I am the God,” he said, a clear Drake diss.

He then interrupted the DJ playing Skepta’s “Shutdown” to offer some words for fellow Roc Nation labelmate J. Cole.

“I’m sorry but J. Cole ain’t got bars like this. I’m sorry, whoever your favorite rapper is, they all know that I’m the God,” he declared.

With Drake fresh off his destruction of Meek Mill, Jay Electronica may be tempting fate. Stay tuned.
