J. Cole and Kendrick Lamar Drop Black Friday Gift

J. Cole and Kendrick Lamar have been teasing a joint project, but nothing has materialized. However, today they gave us hope with a pair of tracks for Black Friday. Each tweeted a link to a song from the other. Kendrick raps over Cole’s “A Tale of 2 Citiez” off 2014 Forest Hills Drive, while Cole goes in over Kendrick’s “Alright” off To Pimp a Butterfly.

Is a full project next? Cole hints at something to come on his remix: “But this February, bet shit gets scary when I fuck around and drop [bleep].”
