2 Chainz Pays Disabled Veteran's Rent

The holiday season is just beginning, but 2 Chainz is already in the giving spirit.

Following the success of his Dabbing Santa Christmas sweaters, the Def Jam rapper chose to donate some of the profits to those in need through his charity T.R.U. Foundation, which launched in March 2013. Tity Boi focused on one particular person, Deirdre Plater, a disabled veteran and single mother based in Palmetto, Ga.

2 Chainz learned that Plater had become unemployed and was having a rough time following surgery, and decided to pay her rent for a full year and provide her and her son with furniture for their home. This marks one of several helping hands that 2 Chainz plans to provide to those who are unable to make ends meet.
