Pusha T Debuts 'Sunshine' on 'The Daily Show'

  /  12.16.2015

Pusha T brought a bit of “Sunshine” to “The Daily Show,” premiering his latest single featuring Jill Scott.

The G.O.O.D. Music president, whose new album Darkest Before Dawn: The Prelude drops Friday, hit the stage to debut the new cut, whose moody sound belies the brightness that the title suggests. On the track, he swings a light on America’s issues. “C-N-N, Don Lemon, no Kweli when you meet me / In order to be me / You gotta see what Chief Keef see,” he raps.

“Sunshine” is the latest teaser from the album, which precedes the April release of King Push. On Monday, he dropped the visuals for “Crutches, Crosses, Caskets,” which he also performed on the show, and released a pair of songs including “M.F.T.R.” featuring The-Dream and the Timbaland-produced “Untouchable.”

Darkest Before Dawn also includes features from A$AP Rocky, Kanye West, Kehlani, Beanie Sigel, and more.
