Is ScHoolboy Q’s Blank Face LP about to be a movie?

On Tuesday (Jun. 21), Groovy Tony unleashed a new trailer for his upcoming album. At just a little over one minute, the cinematic teaser shows Q going from having fun with friends to being locked up behind bars.

“We might die for this shit, ni**a,” raps Q. “We might go down for this, ni**a / Bang, bang, and that Crip shit / We might die for this shit, ni**a.”

On Friday, Q also previewed a song from his new album in a different Blank Face trailer. The project is due July 8 and follows 2014’s Oxymoron.

Could Q be plotting a LEMONADE-style visual album of his own? Time will tell, but for now, watch the new Blank Face LP trailer below.
