Video: Francis and the Lights feat. Kanye West & Bon Iver - 'Friends'

  /  07.07.2016

Francis and the Lights teams up with “Friends” Kanye West and Bon Iver in the band’s latest music video.

Directed by Jake Schreier, the clip starts with Yeezus in front of a white backdrop. Panning away from him for some interpretive dancing, the visual ends with ‘Ye, Francis, and Bon’s Justin Vernon looking away from the camera with one hand up.

Of course, Vernon and Yeezy have collaborated in the past. In fact, the Bon Iver singer appeared as a writer on My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy’s “Lost in the World” and “Monster.” He also wrote on Yeezus’ “I Am a God,” “Hold My Liquor,” and “I’m in It.”

Yeezy hasn’t worked with Francis and the Lights before, but FATL recently collaborated with West’s “Ultralight Beam” partner-in-rhyme. The group produced Chance the Rapper’s Jeremih-assisted “Summer Friends” off Coloring Book.
