New Music: E-40 feat. Kamaiyah - 'Petty'

E-40 has a message for anyone who’s “Petty.”

Joined by Kamaiyah, 40 Water explains the cons of being “Petty” on his J Hawk-produced single. “Most of these bitches is petty, frivolous,” he raps. “I’m having my skrill and my fetty, privileges.”

Meanwhile, Oakland’s Kamaiyah comes through with a verse of her own. “I guess I’m the one that they hate now,” she rhymes. “You bitches is played out.”

The Yay Area Ambassador had kind things to say about his guest star. “When I work with talent from my community it feels organic,” he said. “Kamaiyah is a talented artist. She’s bubbling right now in the streets.”

E-40 has been having a hell of a year, with guest appearances on tracks by everybody from Fat Joe to Yo Gotti to ScHoolboy Q. It all leads up to the November release of his duo album pack The D-Boy Diary: Book 1 & 2.

Meanwhile, Kamaiyah just dropped her documentary, A Good Night in the Ghetto, and she’s set to appear alongside YG and Drake in the video for “Why You Always Hatin.”
