Azealia Banks is ready to “Blossom” on an unreleased song that has surfaced online. According to the controversial Harlem rapper, the track was recorded for her 2014 debut Broke With Expensive Taste.

“It’s called ‘Blossom’ and the song is about a lesbian romance,” she explained on Instagram.

The uptempo number blends rapping and singing, allowing Banks to explore the same-sex theme. “I think I’m in love,” she sings. “In love with her / She must be from, from up above.”

Banks has had a year of ups and downs. Back in March, she released her latest mixtape, Slay-Z, but after that, she beefed with Sarah Palin and Zayn Malik.

In May, she had her Twitter account suspended after making racist and homophobic remarks before vowing to quit social media “for good” earlier this month.
