New Music: Isaiah Rashad - 'i mean'
After serving up “Free Lunch” and its music video, Isaiah Rashad delivers “i mean,” another banger meant to ramp up anticipation for his upcoming album.
Over Black Metaphor’s soulful production, the TDE MC rhymes about the streets and infidelity.
“I feel so dirty when I pitch it right,” raps Isaiah. “I make you nervous, how I get you right / I think my hoe might be the preacher wife / Yeah, I mean my hoe might be the sneaky type.”
“i mean” is another warm-up for Isaiah’s upcoming album, due Sept. 2. However, it won’t appear on the actual LP, according to the Chattanooga spitter.
Rashad didn’t just drop a new single today. He also linked up with fans in Los Angeles at a “Free Lunch” event where he took pictures, signed autographs, and provided free lunch.
