It’s still All Eyez on 2Pac.

On the 20th anniversary of Tupac Shakur’s death, fans get a new look at All Eyez On Me, the upcoming Benny Boom-directed film based on the late rapper’s life.

The fresh trailer features various scenes from the forthcoming biopic, which stars Demetrius Shipp, Jr. as ‘Pac and Danai Gurira as his mother, Afeni Shakur.

“Like all black leaders,” she tells him at one point. “You have a bullseye on your back…They are going to come after you.”

The movie is also expected to touch on the New York-born MC’s relationship with The Notorious B.I.G., Jada Pinkett Smith, Kidada Jones, and Faith Evans.

So far, the film has no confirmed release date and the trailer only promises that it’s “coming soon.” Previously, it was rumored to be released Nov. 11.

Today marks the 20th anniversary of Tupac’s tragic passing. He died after being shot multiple times in a still unresolved crime. He was 25 years old at the time.
