Gun Shots Reported After Future's 'Nobody Safe Tour' in Brooklyn

  /  05.20.2017

Safety was a major concern for those who attended the Brooklyn stop of Future’s “Nobody Safe Tour” on Friday (May 19).

The Associated Press reports that gunshots were heard while concertgoers were exiting the Barclays Center, however, no evidence of gunfire was found by law enforcement officials.

Nevertheless, reports of a shooting marred the event. According to XXL, seven gunshots were heard at approximately 10:45 p.m., resulting in a stampede outside of the venue.

Ambulances reportedly arrived afterwards to treat victims, including one male who was “wounded or suffering some other injury as a result of the shooting.”

Barclays issued a statement on the matter, denying that there was a shooting in the venue: “There were no gunshots tonight inside the arena. A loud noise during load out caused concern while fans exited the venue. Get home safely.”

The tour, which also features Migos, Tory Lanez, and A$AP Ferg during select dates, will go on. The run is expected to hit Hartford this evening before continuing through June 30 in Las Vegas.
