YG Announces 'Red Friday' Mixtape

  /  11.01.2016

YG is changing up an annual tradition with his new mixtape.

Instead of celebrating Black Friday this year, the Compton rapper has announced that it’s going to be Red Friday. He plans to release the project on the day after Thanksgiving, Nov. 25.

“Black Friday ain’t black this year. I’m painted that bitch RED,” he tweeted, before adding: “RED FRIDAY MIXTAPE 11/25.”

YG announced his forthcoming tape late last month and also dropped what seems to be its first single with “One Time Comin’.”

He’s certainly staying busy. Earlier this year, YG dropped his sophomore album Still Brazy and is also plotting his DJ Mustard joint project 400 Summers.

Want more YG? The 4Hunnid boss joined Slim 400 and Sad Boy in the music video for “Bruisin'” today. The track is a single off Slim’s recent All Blassik tape.
