Alessia Cara Covers Frank Ocean's 'Super Rich Kids'

  /  11.09.2016

Alessia Cara takes on Frank Ocean.

After covering Justin Bieber and Drake, the Canadian singer-songwriter has released a cover of Ocean and Earl Sweatshirt’s “Super Rich Kids” on BBC Radio 1.

“I’m a huge Frank Ocean fan,” she explained on the show. “It’s pretty known. I mention his name in every interview, so I’m really excited to do this. This is one of the most brilliant songs, not only of his, but ever. I think it’s so genius. It’s beautiful lyrically, I love the melody. It’s something different and I hope we can do it justice.”

Cara covered both Frank and Earl’s parts of the channel ORANGE song, accompanied by her bandmates, pianist Eric Truelove, drummer Adrian Passarelli, and bassist Dean Jarvis.
