Jeremih Disses PARTYNEXTDOOR On Stage

  /  12.03.2016

PARTYNEXTDOOR and Jeremih have been on the “Summer’s Over Tour.” Now, it seems like their friendship’s over too.

The R&B duo is involved in some R&Beef. On Friday (Dec. 2), Jeremih launched an onstage verbal attack on his frequent collaborator during a show in Dallas.

“PARTYNEXTDOOR and his crew are some bitch-ass ni**as,” he told fans. “Now scream for PARTYNEXTDOOR now. Y’all better cheer for him now. Tell him to press them fuckin’ fake-ass buttons…He ain’t even singing y’all songs. That shit weak as hell…This ni**a been trying to stop me since this tour started. He can’t stop me. Can’t stop us, ni**a!”

The tour has been going through a rocky time leading up to this. During Thursday’s show in Houston, fans claimed that there was a stunt double stand-in for Jeremih on stage wearing a hoodie and sunglasses, being drowned out by a backing track.

“On everything that wasn’t @Jeremih on stage in Houston & that performance was trash,” tweeted a fan. “That fake @Jeremih they brought out in Houston wore a hoodie & hat the whole show sliding from his fans like Usher,” tweeted another.

On Nov. 29 in Chicago, Jeremih reportedly also stormed off the stage, yelling “Fuck y’all.” He would later tweet: “‘They’ didn’t want me 2 perform tonight.. it sad people will take ur money and blatantly make it seem like I only want to do 2 songs.”

Bossip reports that tensions have been escalating on the tour due to Jeremih’s belief that it should be a co-headlining jaunt. PND reportedly disagrees, claiming his fan base is responsible for a majority of ticket sales.

Prior to the tour, PND and Juicy had revealed plans for a joint project, Late Night Party, and dropped the Lil Wayne-assisted “Like Dat.”

UPDATE: Jeremih has been removed from PARTYNEXTDOOR’s “Summer’s Over Tour,” a Live Nation representative tells Pitchfork.

“We’ve decided it’s best for the Summer’s Over Tour to continue without Jeremih, effective immediately,” a statement reads. “After multiple incidents we are left with no other choice. We do not support these actions or take these actions lightly.”

Full refunds will be issued for fans that wanted to see Jeremih.
