The Weeknd's 'Beauty Behind the Madness' Celebrates 100 Weeks on Billboard 200

  /  08.05.2017

The Starboy continues to shine.

With the release of the latest Billboard 200, The Weeknd’s Beauty Behind the Madness celebrates 100 consecutive weeks on the chart, according to Billboard. This week, it arrives at 76.

Since its release, Beauty has moved 3.7 million equivalent album units (1.23 million traditional). Its songs, including “Earned It,” “Can’t Feel My Face,” “Tell Your Friends,” and “The Hills” have also generated 2.05 billion on-demand audio streams.

But Abel isn’t alone with this distinction. Arriving at No. 121 this week, Halsey’s Badlands also celebrates the same accomplishment. Both albums were released on the same date with Beauty opening at No. 1, while Badlands debuted at No. 2.

The Weeknd’s Starboy is also making noise on the chart. Currently, the project sits at No. 31 in its 35th week on the Billboard 200. The album debuted at No. 1 in December.

Despite all of this Billboard 200 success, only one Weeknd song currently resides on the Billboard Hot 100—”Reminder,” which is presently No. 100.
