Stream Yasiin Bey & Ferrari Sheppard's 'December 99th' LP
It might only be Dec. 21, but for Yasiin Bey and Ferrari Sheppard, it’s actually December 99th.
The Dec 99th duo has unleashed its debut project, exclusively via TIDAL. Featuring a blend of singing and rapping from the artist formerly known as Mos Def, the effort boasts production from Sheppard on all 10 tracks.
December 99th does not feature “Hymn,” the TIDAL exclusive that the twosome dropped earlier this year. But fans can still listen to that joint here.
The project, which was crafted in South Africa, may be a final chance for some to hear new material from Yasiin. The artist recently announced that he will be retiring from the music industry.
“I’m retiring from the music recording industry as it is currently assembled today, and also from Hollywood, effective immediately,” he said back in January. “I’ll be releasing my final album this year. And that’s that.”
