Chris Brown Settles Lawsuit in Vegas Battery Case

  /  09.20.2017

Chris Brown has reportedly settled a lawsuit with Liziane Gutierrez, a woman who claims he attacked her in a Las Vegas hotel room.

Sources tell TMZ that the settlement included “preliminary talks of $70,000,” but Gutierrez likely made off with “substantially less.” The final amount is not currently known.

Gutierrez sued Brown last year, claiming that he assaulted her in his Palms Hotel suite after she tried to take a picture of him during a private party. She alleges that he also confiscated her phone and punched her in the right eye.

Brown, who was not charged with a crime, has also denied assaulting Gutierrez. He even claimed that she was “too ugly” to have attended one of his soirées.

“Obviously, somebody is looking to get a check or start some shit,” he said at the time. “I don’t know this old lookin’ bitch. This bitch is old, like dusty, look at her in the Jason Derulo video. Like she came to Vegas, she probably came to my room and was too ugly to get in.”
