New Music: DeJ Loaf - 'Changes'
DeJ Loaf has been going through “Changes.”
After showcasing fearlessness with “No Fear,” the Detroit spitter reflects on her ups, downs, and transitions on a triumphant, horn-filled banger about all of those different phases in her life.
“I’ve been going through changes,” she raps. “I prayed to God and I made it / Nobody did me no favors / I’m sorry if you can’t take it.”
The unapologetic single follows the previously-released “No Fear” off her forthcoming debut album, Liberated, which is due this year.
DeJ recently spoke with HotNewHipHop about her evolution as an artist leading up to her forthcoming debut. “The change in my sound is just wanting to spread my wings,” she said. “I’ve already nailed the old stuff I was doing, so let me try this and nail it.”
