Chance the Rapper Previews Future Collaboration 'My Peak'

  /  02.21.2017

After teasing a remix to Drake and Future’s “Grammys,” Chance the Rapper teams up with Hendrix on a new track, presumably titled “My Peak.”

Lil Chano shared snippets of the forthcoming heater on Monday (Feb. 20), while dancing in a dimly-lit studio. “My baby momma fin’a get her master’s,” he raps. “Bravo! I just hit the office, pass the FAFSA / I don’t wanna hear about no masters / I’ll just hear my pastor, it’s faster.”

Hendrix also appears in the snippet on what sounds like the track’s hook. “I don’t measure it no more,” he raps. “I pour it ’til it’s pink.” Later, he adds: “I ain’t barely reached my peak.”

Chance’s Instagram post tagged DJ Esco, prompting some to believe the DJ is somehow involved. So far, however, it’s unclear which project, if any, the song will be released through.

Hendrix and Chano are no strangers to duets. Last year, the two collaborated on “Smoke Break” off Chance’s Grammy-winning album Coloring Book.

Last week, Chance previewed his remix to Drake and Future’s “Grammys” at a nightclub, shortly after getting some congratulatory messages from Drizzy. Since then, Hendrix has dropped his own solo version of the Views cut.

Chano is coming off three Grammys. Meanwhile, Future is hot off the release of his new self-titled LP.
