2 Chainz Debuts 'Good Drank 2.0' with Gucci Mane & Quavo

  /  03.03.2017

After performing an alternate version of “Good Drank” on “The Tonight Show” with Gucci Mane and a choir, 2 Chainz serves up the studio version.

Dubbed “Good Drank 2.0 (Trap Choir Version),” the track finds the Trap Choir replacing Quavo on the hook. Migos fans need not worry, as Quavo’s famed ad-libs still appear.

“Good Drank 2.0” also adds a third verse from Tity Boi, including shoutouts to André 3000, Fonzworth Bentley, Mike Dean, and Guwop.

“Good Drank” and “2.0” precede 2 Chainz’ new album Pretty Girls Like Trap Music, which is rumored to include collaborations with Justin Bieber and Drake.

“I felt like [the title] applied,” 2 Chainz recently told Billboard.”I felt like this was the time. I think [trap is] leading categories as far as genre in music, listeners and streaming. I’m excited to bring that to the forefront. I’m excited to be one of the people that kind of fill that lane.”

As for that Drake collabo? “It wasn’t easy,” he said. “Drake is a perfectionist. I like to rap and I’m a perfectionist, but it was just about getting that record that we felt would hold some kind of substance that we could listen to over time like the previous records that we have. We have some pretty timeless pieces so I think that’s what we’re working on — more timeless pieces.”

Pretty Girls Like Trap Music is due April 7.
