Tinashe Eyes April Release for 'Joyride'
Tinashe is finally ready to unveil her long-awaited sophomore album Joyride. The R&B songstress has announced that it could be out as soon as next month.
Just recently, an Instagram user asked Tinashe when the oft-delayed project would arrive. “Next month,” she replied with several smiling emojis with their tongues out.

Tinashe has been hinting at the album for quite some time. Earlier this year, she dropped two singles, “Faded Love” featuring Future and the Offset-assisted “No Drama,” which are both expected to appear on Joyride.
This isn’t the first time that Tinashe has given out a potential release month. Back in 2016, she told Rap-Up that the album would be released by October of that year, but plans shifted.
Last year, she spoke with Rap-Up again about the long-awaited project, this time leaving the timetable much more open. “It’s going to come out when it comes out,” she said. “I’m just excited to continue to release new material. I have a lot of new music and I’m really excited about that. It’s all good things.”
Joyride marks the follow-up to Tinashe’s 2014 debut Aquarius.
