  /  11.26.2018

J.I.D is back for an encore. The Atlanta rapper returns with DiCaprio 2, the sequel to his debut album.

In addition to the J. Cole-assisted single “Off Deez,” the 14 tracks include collaborations with 6LACK and Ella Mai (“Tiiied”), Method Man and Joey Bada$$ (“Hot Box”), A$AP Ferg (“Westbrook”), and BJ the Chicago Kid (“Skrawberries”), with production from ChaseTheMoney, Nice Rec, Christo, and Wondagurl.

Upon its release via Dreamville/Interscope Records, the album hit No. 1 on iTunes Top Albums chart. A grateful J.I.D took to Instagram to reflect on the moment. “I love you guys so much and I hope you are enjoying this project, it literally ripped the soul out of my body putting this together,” he wrote. “We work so hard and pray for things like this daily, Thank God and Thank YOU GUYS!! Love y’all man.”

DiCaprio 2 follows J.I.D’s critically-acclaimed 2017 debut The Never Story, which featured contributions from J. Cole, EarthGang, and 6LACK.
