Kendrick Lamar to Headline Hot 97 Summer Jam
Pulitzer Prize winner Kendrick Lamar will headline Hot 97’s Summer Jam.
The 25th annual event, which carries the theme “’94 ’til Infinity,” will also feature Lil Wayne, who will perform classics from his Carter series. Meanwhile, A$AP Ferg, Tory Lanez, Swizz Beatz, Remy Ma, Rich the Kid, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, and more will appear on the Stadium Stage at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J. on June 10.
The annual Festival Stage will feature rising stars including Famous Dex, Jay Critch, Don Q, and Snoopy Dinero.

“Our team got together and felt the theme, ’94 ’til Infinity’ captured where Summer Jam is today launching into the 25th year,” said Ebro Darden, the station’s Asst. Program Director. “We wanna make sure the culture knows we plan to keep it cracking for the Tri-State and hip-hop. Summer Jam has established itself as a mainstay in an artist’s evolution since the beginning. We will keep working with artists and fans to keep the same energy.”
Funkmaster Flex also celebrated this year’s theme and the station’s legacy. “Summer Jam has been epic since the days when the music wasn’t considered one of the most consumed genres like it is today,” he said. “We’ve worked hard to put hip-hop and Summer Jam on the map and this year will be no different.”
A pre-sale for American Express cardmembers runs April 17-19, while general tickets go on sale Friday (April 20).
