Ty Dolla $ign Debuts 'Hottest in the City' on 'Tonight Show'

Ty Dolla $ign had “The Tonight Show” going up.

The L.A. hitmaker hit the East Coast on Monday for the first televised performance of his single “Purple Emoji” on “The Tonight Show.” With a giant cross behind him and below him, he delivered the J. Cole collaboration with help from his band. He also debuted a rock-tinged track called “Hottest in the City,” which appears to feature vocals from Juicy J.

At the end of the performance, he shouted out A$AP Rocky, who is currently on trial in Sweden. “Free A$AP Rocky!” said Ty.

He is now gearing up for his new album and can also be heard on Megan Thee Stallion’s new single “Hot Girl Summer,” which arrives Friday.
