Roddy Ricch gets his Grammy.

Following Cardi B and DJ Khaled, “The Box” rapper is the latest artist to receive his award in the mail.

Taking to his Instagram Story, he proudly showed off his first Grammy for Best Rap Performance for “Racks in the Middle,” his collaboration with Hit-Boy and Nipsey Hussle. He held the gold gramophone in his hand while paying tribute to his late collaborator.

“thank u @nipseyhussle,” Roddy wrote alongside a blue heart emoji.

The 21-year-old Compton MC was nominated for three Grammys this year, including two for “Racks in the Middle.”

Speaking with Rap-Up, he reflected on Nipsey’s impact on him and his community. “He was more than just another rapper to me. He was one of the young motivational role models in the city,” said Roddy. “He really had a positive connection with young people. It wasn’t always about being the toughest or trying to prove yourself or be something you wasn’t. It was more so about being who you were and always having a strong mentality in whatever you wanted to do as far as your ventures.”

Roddy’s success continues. After topping the Billboard Hot 100 for 11 weeks with “The Box,” he is gearing up to release a video for “High Fashion,” the Mustard-produced single off his debut Please Excuse Me for Being Antisocial.

Meanwhile, his “Rockstar” collaboration with DaBaby is already a top 10 hit. The song currently sits at No. 8 on the Hot 100.
