Robin Thicke has revealed that he has collaborated with Mary J. Blige on a remix to his first single “Magic.” The two are planning to shoot an accompanying video for the song in the coming weeks.
Thicke and Blige last worked together on “Ask Myself” off the Mary J. Blige & Friends album. Both artists can be seen on tour together performing spot dates throughout September.
Thicke’s third studio album Something Else is due September 30th.

Why make another video for a current song that ALREADY has a video that’s getting airplay? Kinda stupid. What’s the point? The core audience of these two artists aren’t heavily influenced by videos. But if their labels are intent on spending money on a video, why don’t they apply it towards something else — like uh, I don’t know, a video for a DIFFERENT song by Robin Thicke or Mary. This is whack. Not excited by the prospect.
