2008 is almost a wrap, so we’ve compiled a list of our 20 favorite hip-hop and R&B songs of the year (in no particular order). It was a hard task to whittle down the list from thousands to only 20, but we feel our selections including Lil Wayne, T.I., Chris Brown, and Beyoncé are worthy. Feel free to share your ‘08 faves.

    I definitely agree with the list. It’s weird that you put “Migrate” on the list because it’s my favorite track off of “E=MC2″ and should have been released as a single.

    its a good list and the majority of the songs were hot for a lot of ppl. And I agree with the mariah track. Migrate is a choon. Better than some of the other crap she released

    is a lot of hot songs they could put on here one of my fav Ashanti first single The way that i love you that single was real str real shit. and it was a 1 hit on the charts aswell. more i can put on here but i dont have time we just cant forget about her.

    those ciara sigles have been major flops so you cant really put them up on there, her music isnt that good anyway, and her album is out in 2009, so perhaps next year?

    2008 was the year for leona lewis, alicia keys,Rihanna, Neyo, Beyonce, Jordin Sparks, T.I, and lil wayne, im sure ive missed a few others!
