Although M.I.A.’s protégée Rye Rye hasn’t had the chance to see her fellow “Bang” collaborator’s newborn, Ikhyd, up close and personal just yet, she says a photo she received proves he resembles his mama because “they got the same nose.” The 18-year-old MC also exclusively tells Rap-Up.com her thoughts on the kind of parent M.I.A. will be to her son.

“I think she’ll be a fun parent,” reveals the Baltimore native. “I’m just thinking about how she acts with me. She act like I’m her child sometimes.”

The “Paper Planes” hitmaker’s inner child extends to her parenting. “Sometimes the kid side comes out of her. She likes doing stupid stuff and funny stuff, anything that will make her laugh.”

“There’d be times when she was pregnant, and she’d say, ‘If the baby do something wrong, we’ll just make him walk the plank,’” jokes Rye Rye. “I think she’s gonna have fun with the baby. That’s the type of person M.I.A. is—she real fun.”
