Rap-Up.com || Michael Jackson’s Last Show Rehearsal

Michael Jackson rehearses for his “This Is It” tour at the Staples Center in Los Angeles in these photos taken just days before his tragic death. The 50 shows at London’s O2 Arena were set to kick off on July 13. The concerts sold out in record-breaking time.

“It was an amazing show. The thing was just days away from being perfected. It was incredible,” said magician Ed Alonzo, who was hired to work on the production. “Even though it was just a walk-through with the dancers, his moves were dead-on—the same Michael Jackson we [saw] through the years in music videos.”

Why don’t they take the video they have been taking through out the rehearsals and make tribute concert out of it so those who purchased tickets can have a copy of it and have something to remember special for there ticket purchase.

Crystal that is a GREAT idea. Something special for the ticket holders, a limited edition DVD of what Michael did best..PERFORM! Its what they paid to see..

I really hope there’s a DVD of the rehearsal as I’d love to see it but by all accounts it would be more of a walkthrough than a performance. I’m sure MJ would be saving his voice.

Also I don’t think that many people would be happy paying £75 for it, particularly as it would be seen by everyone else free as soon as the pirates got hold of it. As far as it being limited edition, well, call me cynical but that’s just two words printed on something as at 750,000 copies it wouldn’t be that limited. I purchased a few tickets myself and would like a memento but I’d prefer the ticket stub.

Still can’t believe I’m not going to see him live in my hometown. Would have been a childhood dream come true. RIP MJ

2 BAD CRYSTAL GOT THAT IDEA FROM EVERYONE ELSE WHO BEEN SAYING THE SAME THING!

BUT ALSO THIS IS A WALK-THRU REHEARSAL SO YOU DNT PUT ALL YOUR ENERGY INTO IT ITS LIKE PRACTICE SO THE STAPS R NOT HIT THE WAY THEY ARE LIVE SO THIS MIGHT DISAPPOINT

J-Rib I disagree! People just want to see michael and witness what the show could have been. Everyone is aware of what he is capable of and everyone knows it was practice because He never got to start the damn tour so I say release the damn video. People love to see michael in a more candid sense anyways that’s the side no one gets to see.

WUT WE WILL GET IS A VIDEO OF HIM DOING A TOUR RUN THREW. WE WONT GET FULL AFFECT OF WUT THIS COULD BE SO ID RATHER LEAVE IT AT THAT TO RELEASE MUSIC SURE GO AHEAD DNT RELEASE THIS VIDEO OF HIS LAST PERFOMANCE WHEN THIS AINT WUT WE GONNA EXPECT SO WHY DO THAT TO EXPLOIT HIM FOR MONEY?

ALSO THIS ISENT LIKE THE FINAL REHEARSAL B4 THE SHOWS HE HAD ANOTHER 3 WEEKS OF REHEARSING SO THIS WASENT THE FINAL WALK THRU WITH ALL OUT SHOW IF THAT WAS THE CASE ID LEAN MORE TOWARDS RELEASING IT

There is no use refunding ticket sales for Michael Jackson’s concert. The money should be turn over for the family as a way of showing love and respect for the Icon I truely admires & loved.

DAMMIT!!!! It is just NOT FAIR that he died when it was planned for a long time that he was gonna perform in London! He could’ve become A LOT more famous!!! Another ‘Heath Ledger’ thing. They HAVE to make a tribute concert instead NOW; NO cancelling ANYTHING, people!!!

You are all wonderful with these comments. I share all your sentiments.
I would love to see this as a DVD and you are also right – it would be good to see Michael in this way. It doesn’t matter that it was a practice.

These pictures look so good – it would have been a fantastice show.

I can’t believe this has happened. It is very hard to come terms with and I am so very sad for Michael.

What more can I say except he was so very special – too special and talented to be allowed to stay with us.

I think he is in a far better place now and a more peaceful place.

It’s weird because he looks really good in these pics despite the reports of how bad he looked when he passed away. It’s heartbreaking seeing these pictures though.

I just read on a website that they have the entire last rehearsal on video and they may be putting it out on DVD. I hope so.

I wouldn’t care if it’s just a run through. Just knowing that it was his last rehearsal, it would be a great memory to leave his fans. To see how good he looked. I still can’t believe he’s gone and I never will. I have always listened to his music and now so even more. I was watching his video “You Are Not Alone” with my children last night, with him in the angel wings and the words to the song. It was like he knew and he wanted to let the fans know that he will always be here in our hearts. He will stay in my heart and I will pass all of the memorbilia, cassettes, DVD’s and videos on to my children. That way they can continue to listen and love his music the way we did when we were growing up.

R.I.P. Michael Jackson you will be loved and missed forever.

i would have love to meet him i love him sooooooooo much and he will be miss and i give my prayers to the jackson family and he will just be miss he will never been forgotin he did so much stuff like he came write up with the Moonwalk and ever since he came with that everone did it he did charity and gave soooooooooooooo much money and love kids because he didnt have a childhood andd i dont belive them lies and i still would not belive NEVER i am still goin to listen to hes STUFF!
