2009 has been a smash for Tricky Stewart. The super-producer ruled the airwaves with Beyoncé’s “Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It),” Jamie Foxx’s “Blame It,” and Rihanna’s “Hard,” and received four Grammy nominations including Album and Song of the Year for his work with Beyoncé. In between producing new albums for Ciara, Katy Perry, and Christina Aguilera, the hitmaker shared his 10 favorite albums of the year with Rap-Up.com.
Beyoncé – I Am… Sasha Fierce
Jay-Z – The Blueprint 3
Rihanna – Rated R
The-Dream – Love vs. Money
Black Eyed Peas – The E.N.D.
50 Cent – Before I Self Destruct
Lady Gaga – The Fame Monster
Robin Thicke – Sex Therapy
Trey Songz – Ready
Mariah Carey – Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel
These are in no particular order.

@Jack, I think The Declaration by Ashanti should have made the list. Ashanti is an accomplished relevant singer who has changed the face of pop culture. Ashanti has proven time and time again why the music industry, and therefore the entertainment world, needs her singing and acting abilities.

Beyonce’s album came out in 2008 not 2009
Black Eyed Peas, 50 Cent’s, and Jay-Z’s albums were all terrible.

@Ant’onio Chapman Review, That doesn’t change the fact that it was released in 2008, its still Tricky’s opinion though.
And I also think that Beyonce’s album was garbage…

No a really great list.
Pretty much anything he worked on or anything that was successful or came out in the past month. lol. No effort..anyway, Blame It shouldn’t be his credits. Chris “Deep” Henderson produced that. Probably got it confused cause Blame It is modelled on I Luv Ya Girl.

All he is is a Timbaland wannabe and I don’t repsect him as a Producer. When you have multiple hits like Timbo then talk but his attitude is not humble at all….He has had what 3 major hits in 3 years? Umbrella Single Ladies and Bed….Boy please….

Tricky’s good but for real he bites Tim sometimes. I don’t find him stand offish at all, though. He mostly plays the back.
Bed was produced by LOS Da Mystro, BTW.

This list is his favorite albums… who are we to say something shouldn’t be on the list.. yall kill me sometimes… and I could have sworn that T-Pain wrote and produced Blame it but don’t quote me on that. Personally the only album that I dont like on his list is Robin Thicke’s his music is just not my cup orf tea. His albums sounds like elevator/lounge music to me.. but anyhoo…. by the way Timbaland is doing just fine his single “Carry Out” with Justin Timberlake is going up the charts

I Think T-Pain Ruined Hip Hop For 2009 . With That Enoying Beat. Revolver Is Sh!t Compared To His Last Album Thr33 Ringz . And I Hate Rihannas Rated R , Not Because Of The Music . Because The Album Has Too Many Bad Influences . It Has Pornography Showing Her Nearly Naked And Smoking Ciggarettes . She’s Only 21 For Damn Sake . She Needs To Lighten Up , My Mum Is Dieing Because Of Smoking . Shes A Bad Influence

@2010, sorry about ur mom, but seriously u cant blame rihanna for that or that she is encouraging it because the is more than enough celebs for that. and anyway the album is for adults only, and they either already smokers or non-smokers images of rihanna wont change that.
