Rap-Up.com || 2010 VH1 Hip Hop Honors: Arrivals

The Big Apple got a taste of the Dirty South as VH1 celebrated the genre’s Southern region at the “2010 VH1 Hip Hop Honors” taped at Hammerstein Ballroom on Thursday (June 3). Artists including Keri Hilson, Drake, T.I., Rick Ross, Diddy, Brandy, Nelly, Kid Rock, and Kelly Rowland helped honor Jermaine Dupri, Luther Campbell and 2 Live Crew, Master P, and others with musical tributes at the seventh annual event.

i’m not feelin’ keri’s look this time around (it’s too gray, especially her make-up/hair), but she usually looks cute, so it’s alright. brandy looks good; i wish she’d just get her lace front situated. bangs are a plus, though.

speaking of lace fronts, i don’t like kelly’s look: gorgeous girl but to me, she can never bring the full package. either her make-up/hair is cute but her outfit is wack or her shoes and accessories are fire but her wig is not the business; it’s never a DAMN SHE LOOKS FINE moment.

to the person who put ciara in the same breath as mariah and rihanna, LMFAO. keep dreamin’. she wishes she had 1/100th of that success.

trina and taraji are GORGEOUS — the best two looks on the page by far. chilli looks alright but it’s a little drab.

Keri is so beautiful, I just can’t understand why she has haters! Everyone else looks a fool but Keri looks so sexy & I love the new cut with those different brown streaks/highlights in her hair.
